The staff was exceptionally friendly and nice, they gave me indications for hiking and were always there whenever I had any query or issue. I actually enjoyed having a single bed room as I was travelling on my own. the room was nice and cosy. The breakfast had both home made cake but also local cheese and cold meet. Everything was perfect and I am already planning to come back.

We couldn't find it at first, but we managed.. we were very tired as it was very late and drove past it. Called the number and the owner was helpfull. It was lovely!! We booked the familysuite (3 children) for one night as we were driving south. It was 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The place is spotless and comfortable. Beds are great, enough space and amazing vibe. Own terras with also outside access to both rooms. Owners are super friendly and helpfull, he even came to say goodbye as he was leaving a bit earlier than us, his wife (I guess his wife) is lovely and their vibe gives you the real italian feeling. Breakfast was great! Eggs, ham, cheese, jam, coffee, thee etc. with fresh baked bread and a fresh baked croissant, even for the kids a chocolate version. Would have loved to stay a bit longer to explore the area (near lago Maggiore) but we needed to go.. Would definitely come here again!! Thank you both! Also for accepting the last minute booking and the late arival.

Located in the Val Grande National Park, Garni Viggiona offers free Wi-Fi and spacious rooms with wooden furnishings. The owner was great, very pleasant and accommodating.He allowed us to store our food in the main refrigerator as the one in our room wasn’t working. Easy driving access to the lake and hiking but away from the bustle of town. Quiet at night.
